Hillary started her Y career teaching dance at the South YMCA 13 years ago. She left the Wichita YMCA Association for a short time to join the Ozark Mountain Family YMCA. While there she worked her way up to Associate Executive Director. In that role, she was responsible for daily operations, facility management, budget, Annual Campaign and Special Events. In addition she gained experience in volunteer and board recruitment and management. She returned to the South YMCA last Fall as the Dance, Cheer and Gymnastics Director.
Starburst holds a BS and MS in Health and Human Performance, both from Fort Hays State University. She has been with the YMCA since May 2008, spending her first year as a Healthy Lifestyle Coach at Hawker Beechcraft. She holds certifications as an ACSM Health Fitness Specialist along with YMCA Strength and Conditioning and Healthy Lifestyle Principles.
Denise holds a B.S in Administration of Justice from Wichita State University. She has taught dance for several years and has trained several organizations in dance technique, choreography and group motivation. She has been a member of the Y for several years and has been a YMCA Fitness Instructor since 2008. Denise has multiple fitness certifications and has group exercise experience in instructing, recruiting and mentoring, which she has put into practice since joining the South YMCA staff in August 2009.
James has been with the South YMCA since May of 2000 as a head lifeguard and swim instructor and took over as Aquatics Director in February of 2007. He earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Butler Community College. James is certified as a YMCA lifeguard, YMCA lifeguard instructor, and YMCA swim instructor.
Catherine graduated in December 2008 from Wichita State University, earning her MA in Sports Administration. Catherine began working for the YMCA in June 2007 as a Site Supervisor at the Farha Sport Center. She joined the West YMCA in November 2009 as the Sports Coordinator, before coming back to work as the Sports Director at the South YMCA & Farha Sport Center in January 2011.
Liz began her Y career in August 2008 at the North Branch. She taught and choreographed there for 3 years working with dancers of all ages and skill levels. She joined the West Branch in June of 2011 as the Dance Coordinator. In the Fall of 2014 she was promoted to the Dance, Cheer and Gymnastics Director here at the South Branch.
Branden holds a B.S. degree in Physical Education from Emporia State University. He started his career at the South YMCA in 2013 as a membership associate. Before obtaining his current position he was the Full Time Manager on Duty.
Whitney holds a B.S. degree in Health Promotion from Emporia State University.

Derek is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Exercise Science from WSU.
Specialties: General fitness, weight loss, personal/group training, speed and agility, body building and overall strength.
Zachary holds a B.S. degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska, Kearney. He is also pursuing a Master's of Education in Exercise Science from WSU.
Specialties: General fitness, weight loss, personal/group training, TRX and endurance training (Triathlons and Marathons).
Sean holds a BA degree in Exercise Science form WSU. He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Sean is also a former collegiate athlete, and has 6 years of experience as a certified personal trainer.
Specialties: Athletics, power lifting, body building, HIT/cross training, bootcamp and weight loss.
Certifications: NSCA-CSCS, TRX, Dynamex Medicine Ball.
Danielle is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Exercise Science from WSU.

Christian is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Exercise Science at WSU.
Specialties: Muscle gain, weight loss, athletic performance and physique building.
Miranda is a YMCA certified personal trainer. She is also a certified instructor in: Group exercise, group cycle and Livestrong
Specialties: Overall general fitness/maintenance, group training and circuits, bootcamps and motivational encouragement.
