Like many people, Andrew faced unexpected setbacks when the pandemic disrupted his career path and brought uncertainty to his daily routine. Losing his job meant losing  structure, confidence and a sense of purpose. The road back wasn’t easy, but Andrew remained committed to moving forward.

Today, Andrew is a valued member of the North YMCA staff, where his positive attitude, dedication and genuine care for others make a lasting impression every day. Known for memorizing names and personally greeting guests, he helps create the welcoming, inclusive environment that is at the heart of the YMCA’s mission. His coworkers and members appreciate the enthusiasm and kindness he brings to every interaction.
