Swimming with Confidence
The YMCA SPLASH program provides basic life-saving swim and water safety skills to 2nd grade children. The six-week program promotes being active, healthy, confident and safe. Learn how to donate to these kids in need here.
SPLASH Program
Our mission to build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all takes us beyond YMCA facilities to reach out to individuals across Wichita with a variety of community engagement and outreach programs.
Over a thousand second graders graduate from the SPLASH program each year.
The Y's SPLASH Program provides an opportunity for 2nd graders from low-income elementary schools to learn basic life-saving swim skills through a free six-week program at the Y. SPLASH is offered in partnership with several schools in the Wichita/Hutchinson area from September-May.
