2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the YMCA's Healthy Kids Day and its goal to encourage active play and lifelong healthy habits. We’re celebrating with a Then & Now Contest packed with Y nostalgia!

Have you grown up with the Y? Your kids? Relive your family’s greatest Y memories and form new ones by sending us your THEN & NOW photos. Participate for a chance to win a free month of membership. 

Our Then & Now Contest post at 10 a.m. (CST) WEDNESDAY, June 15 on Facebook and Instagram will be your cue to enter. The contest will be open through THURSDAY, June 30.

Contest Rules  

• Entries will be accepted from 10 AM Wednesday, June 15 through 11:59 AM Thursday, June 30.

• No purchase necessary; open to Kansas residents ages 18+ only.

• Of all valid entries on Facebook and Instagram, one winner will be chosen randomly and notified via direct message on July 2, 2022.  

• Winner will receive an email confirming their prize of one free month of membership and the steps to redeem that prize. The free month of membership will not automatically be added to the winner’s Greater Wichita YMCA account. 

• Entrant’s must upload two (2) photos:

  • A photo of themselves (and/or child(ren) who they are the legal guardian/parent of and allowed to sign a release for) that was taken at a YMCA, YMCA program, camp, or event at any time before the year 2010.

  • A photo of themselves (and/or child(ren) who they are the legal guardian/parent of and allowed to sign a release for) that recreates their first photo submission or one that was taken at a YMCA, YMCA program, camp, or event at any time in 2021 and 2022.

• By entering the photo the entrants represent and warrant that the eligible photo content is original, that they own the eligible photo content or otherwise have the right to submit it.

• The Greater Wichita YMCA reserves the right to void any entry. 

• An eligible photos must be submitted in .JPG or .PNG format.

• By submitting photo entries, you grant permission for the Greater Wichita YMCA to use the entry materials and name without further compensation or authorization.

• This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

• Greater Wichita YMCA employees are not eligible to win the contest prize.
