McPherson Competitive Gymnastics Team Information
Gymnastics for Pre-Team and Team Tryouts will be held May 15, 2026 from 4-6pm.
While the gymnasts are stretching we will have a Parent Meeting to talk about the details and commitments of both Pre-Team and Team.
Gymnastics practices year-round.
Practice hours for summer (June, July and a portion of August)

September starts the Fall schedule that runs through May 2027 and will be sent out later in the summer.

Meets
The program hosts a pre-season home meet in November, and the regular season begins in January and continues through the end of April. The coach schedules around 10 meets during the season, and athletes may choose to attend 5 meets. Each meet costs $65.00, while the District Championship Meet costs $75.00.
Meets are competitions the team attends that require a team leo and jacket; prices vary from year to year.

Fundraisers
The program also holds fundraisers, such as Red Wheel in late July, which helps offset the costs of meets, leos, and jackets.
