Harlan

Say hi to Harlan! 

Besides being such a sweetheart, he loves the adaptive swimming, gymnastics and sensory water walks here at the South YMCA. 

We asked him and his family why they love the Y and his grandma said:

“I am sure the instructors have goals in their mind for what they want Harlan to accomplish but he doesn't know those goals.  All he knows is that he is being loved and taught with no pressure. He just has a big smile on his face that is seen all throughout the classes,” she said. “Programs are only as good as the people who run them, and I must say the South YMCA has amazing instructors and staff that are top notch and see Harlan for the amazing boy he is.  So very grateful and blessed to have the South YMCA as part of our circle in helping reach Harlan's full potential in life.”
