Heather Stanley

Heather Stanley’s family has been part of the Greater Wichita YMCA family for over 16 years. They've returned again and again because of the strong values modeled by staff and the welcoming environment for her kids to thrive and be met where they're at. 

One of Heather's older children participated in soccer and basketball at the Y throughout childhood and eventually grew into a referee role with us. 

"She learned how to manage her emotions while also providing a positive young role model to the youth," Heather shared. "The Y has been amazing for my children. Beyond sports skills, they have learned perseverance, respect, and how to be a teammate."
