Shane Loy, Branch Director
Shane is an Estherville, IA native. He holds a degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Northern Iowa. Shane began his YMCA experience during college at the YMCA of Blackhawk County where he worked as camp counselor, lifeguard, fitness, childcare programs, sports and membership. He began his career with the Heritage YMCA Group in Naperville, IL as Program Director working mainly with children programs throughout the community. Shane moved in to the role of Director of Childcare, Family and Community Outreach managing programs within the Naperville community as well as with the Oswego YMCA. Shane is married to Nicole and they have a 5 year old daughter, Ava, and recently welcomed Ayden to their family.
Cassandra Criger, Senior Program Director
Sports Management From Washburn University
Cassie recently moved to El Dorado from the Topeka area after having served as the Executive Director for the Sunflower State Games. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Washburn University. She is looking forward to serving the YMCA members and local community. In her free time, you can find her on the local trails. Cassie’s favorite past time is running and biking. When she’s not running races, she likes to volunteer and cheer on others. She can’t wait to see you at the Y!
Dana Orem, Membership Coordinator
Dana has been on the membership team since August 2018. She lives in Augusta with her husband, two kids and two huskies. Dana and her family love to travel especially if it involves a beach! Dana enjoys being part of the community and always willing to help everyone! One of Dana’s favorite things about being at the Y is connecting with members and loves seeing people succeed in achieving their goals.
Melanie Winters, Administrative Assistant
Melanie grew up in South East Kansas on a cattle ranch. Melanie now lives in El Dorado with her two dogs Bear and Oakley, who love to go on runs. Prior to working at the Y, Melanie worked at Wesley hospital as a patient coordinator. Melanie spends her free time working in her yard, spending time with family or reading a new book.
Isaac Haahr, Aquatics Coordinator
Isaac graduated high school from El Dorado. He started working for the YMCA as a lifeguard in summer 2019. Soon afterwards he started teaching swim lessons in El Dorado. Isaac looks forward to helping more people learn the freedom and joy that is swimming.
Holly Pyle, Youth and Family Coordinator
Bachelor's in Health Services Management and Community Development, Wichita State University
Holly moved to El Dorado with her husband and son in 2020. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health services management and community development from Wichita State University and began working in the Kid Zone in February of 2021. In her free time, she enjoys attending group exercise classes, singing with the Wichita Chorus, trying new foods and restaurants with her husband, traveling and watching movies.
JaMarques Holliday, Wellness Director
Sports Management and Marketing
JaMarques is a native of Houston, Texas and a graduate from Tabor College where he received his degree in sports management and marketing. After graduation, he then went on to play Pro Arena Football for the Wichita Force and Salina Liberty. JaMarques career at the YMCA began 2019 where he became a personal trainer at the Downtown Y and is excited to now be the wellness director at the El Dorado YMCA. When asked why does he enjoy working for the YMCA he states, “I love working for the Y because I have a chance to make positive change in people’s lives around the community, and help them reach their goal of overall wellness both physically and mentally.”
