Mom's Day Out

Power Up

The Greater Wichita YMCA is partnering with the Mary K. Connell Fund for Wellness held by the SBA Foundation to keep kids moving with POWER UP. This FREE program will offer kids social and physical activities with friends and offer the opportunity to try new activities all under appropriate supervision.

POWER UP will be held TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS starting Feb. 2 at the EL DORADO YMCA through the end of the school year. 

3:30-5PM at the EL DORADO YMCA

Kids can experience DIFFERENT SPORTS/ACTIVITIES each week including field days, dodgeball, flag football, pickleball, soccer, spike ball, basketball and more.

A Greater Wichita YMCA membership is not required to participate but registration is exclusively available for students, Grades 1-5, whose school districts are located in Butler County, Kansas. Parents/ guardians must register children, in person, at the Welcome Desk of the El Dorado YMCA. Spaces are limited to ensure age-appropriate,15:1 student/staff ratio.

Remote Learning Room

Our meeting room is now open to students and families who need internet access for remote and distanced learning. Contact matt.engel@ymcawichita.org for more information.

Middle School After School

Middle School After School Program will begin again at the El Dorado YMCA on Monday, January 25 and be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30 pm.

Kids will enjoy an afternoon snack, homework help, and then some fun activities which promote physical activity.

All activities take place at the El Dorado YMCA with transportation provided by USD 490. Students will be bused from the MS to the YMCA and then bused home after the program.

An online registration form will need to be filled out and on file before the student can attend the MSASP.
