About Our Pools

The Hutchinson YMCA offers recreational and lap swimming as part of your membership. 

Our Family pool offers you warm and inviting waters! We keep this pool heated to a comfortable 89*. The Y offers Swim Lessons, several daily Water Exercise Classes, Adult Swim and Open Swim time. This pool offers an easy entry with the max depth of 5 1/2 feet.

Open Swim Schedule

 

Swim Team

  • Ages 6-18
  • Yearly commitment
  • Advanced skills will be developed
  • Train year-round on stroke development, swim skills and team building
  • Compete at local, state and national levels as part of the USA Swimming and Missouri Valley Swimming Associations 
  • Tryout and invitation required

Fees vary depending on level. Additional costs for personal equipment, meet fees and swim association dues may apply.

Hot Tub

The Hot Tub is available for members and guests 18+ during regular operating hours. Soak away your aches and pains in our 104*, 10 person tub.

Water Slide and Mushroom

We have a Water Slide and Mushroom Water feature that is fun for all ages and swimming abilities! This pool also features a Hydraulic Chair Lift.

Lap Pool

Our 6 lane Competitive pool is home to 3 local swim teams! There are Water Exercise classes offered in these cooler waters as well. The Lap pool runs depths of 4-9 ft and is heated to a perfect workout temperature of 79*.

Water Fitness Classes

AQUA BODY DESIGN

A sure-fire way to develop total body conditioning. Featuring five, 10-min. circuits for non-stop fun!

AQUA ZUMBA®

Known as the Zumba pool party, this class blends Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves with traditional water fitness disciplines into a safe, challenging workout.

WATER WORKS

A shallow water workout for every part of your body. Cardiovascular work, sculpting and stretching make this a terrific workout without stress to the joints!

ARTHRITIS WATER EXERCISE

This class is a moderate exercise program for ambulatory people with arthritis which may sustain or improve muscular and joint mobility.

WATER TABATA

Intense interval training comes to the pool! Push yourself with easy to follow, yet intense exercises in this fun class.
