YMCA EARMARKS ARPA WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT GRANT FUNDS FOR JOB PREP PROGRAM

Wichita, Kansas — The Greater Wichita YMCA today announced a plan to allocate the $200,000 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Workforce Development Grant received from the City of Wichita to its long-running Job Prep program. The Y was one of 14 organizations awarded ARPA Workforce Development Grants in April to aid public health and economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dold Foods Donates $16,000 to Y for Summer Camp Meals

WICHITA, Kan., (March 15, 2022) — For the second consecutive year, Dold Foods, the local manufacturing facility owned by Hormel Foods Corporation, (NYSE: HRL), today announced a donation of $16,000 to the Greater Wichita YMCA to provide meals for youth in the Wichita, Kan., area. The funds will be used to provide meals to participants in the YMCA Adventure Summer Camp program.
