Kindergarten Ages 5 and Under

Jr. Explorer Camp is an option for kids who have not yet completed kindergarten ages 5 and under at select YMCA Early Learning Centers. Call 316-264-1610 for details.

Ages 5-12

Kids will stay active thorough-out the day in our Adventure Camps. Activities from art to science, sports to drama, swimming, group games and climbing wall (where available) there is something for every interest. No matter what, camp is about connection and friendship! Available at Andover Y, Northwest Y, and the South Y

Ages 5-12

We offer an exciting twist on traditional camp with our Specialty Camp program. In addition to enjoying all the classic fun and amenities that our traditional campers experience, your child will have the opportunity to participate in exclusive, hands-on activities tailored to their specific camp! There are weekly themes for our specialty camps. Specialty Camp is held at the Andover Farha Sports Center.

Ages 5-12

Camp Hiawatha is conveniently located at the North edge of Wichita, along the banks of the Little Arkansas River. Boasting a 42 acre, park-like, wooded setting - it’s the perfect place for campers to explore the great outdoors in a safe, high-energy, loving environment.

Ages 13-14

Each week our teen campers will experience high-flying action, team-building and problem solving initiatives, crazy camp games, and more - all while developing meaningful relationships, personal integrity and depth of character for future leadership.

Get the family together for a getaway at YMCA Camp Hiawatha! The whole family will get the traditional camp experience around the campfire. Activities include high adventure, climbing tower with zip line, archery, games, arts and crafts, and more.

Ages 6-12

The outdoors is a key component of a traditional camp experience, and Camp Hyde has 125 acres of exploration that are perfect for adventures of every kind that lead to increased confidence, character and cooperation.

Ages 13-14

Your teen-age camper will probably think our teen camps are all about them and their friends having fun in the sun. It certainly is that - but it’s also much more! Without even realizing it’s happening, campers will grow in self-awareness, confidence, and the ability to be a positive role model for our younger campers. 

Ages 9-12

Learn the basics of riding and grooming! Our Equestrian Camp has a progressive approach to build skills and confidence in riding. In addition to learning how to care for horses campers will have daily trail rides and/or time to practice riding skills on the obstacle course. 

Ages 13-14

Working side-by-side with our camp Wrangler staff, Wranglers in Training help to guide our frontier campers in the development of horsemanship skills while gaining valuable leadership development training and practical application.
